It is essential to Horizon that our staff and customers are kept safe. To this end, we will undertake the following measures for our team.

A complete health and safety audit is undertaken of each of our staff members’ workspace to ensure that within the workplace, they are working safely and have access to cleaning materials to keep their workspace safe.

If a staff member has any signs of covid, they are expected to take a PCR test and stay home until they have had two negative test results before returning to work.

We would expect customers with symptoms to stay away from Horizon until they are safe to avoid endangering any other customers using the centres.

We have sanitisers for customers to use so they can wipe down any equipment they want. If these are not visible, please ask a member of staff.

All equipment is wiped down with sanitiser regularly throughout the day.

It is always advisable to book any sessions in the leisure centre to guarantee your space.  However, you can turn up, but you will not be guaranteed a space in the facility you wish to attend.

Members can pre-book seven days in advance and non-members two days in advance.

There is no need to pre-book our public or lane sessions; however we advise to pre-book our family float sessions to avoid any disappointment on the day.

No, you will not be restricted in the number of classes or sessions you book. However, it is more vital than ever before that you inform us if you cannot attend a booked session/class (no less than two hours before the session is due to start). This will allow other members to participate if they are on a waiting list.

You will notice there are numbers against each type of activity. The number on the left tells you how many spaces are left, and the number on the right is the capacity.

Example 14/28 Body combat – There are 14 spaces left.

Customers who do not inform us they cannot attend will receive a strike on their membership account.

You can if the child is in your care at the time; however, friends cannot book for them if their parent is also in the centre.

We will always inform the parent after 15 to 20 minutes if we cannot settle their child.
