Horizon Leisure Trust is a charity working to inspire healthier, happier communities. Our welcoming, inclusive spaces bring people together to move more, feel good and connect.
As a charitable trust, Horizon reinvests in our centres and programmes to keep improving what we offer. We’re proud to provide high-quality, accessible facilities and activities for people of all ages and abilities. Our teams in Havant, Waterlooville and Guildford are passionate about creating opportunities that help our communities stay active.
Horizon Leisure Trust is passionate about the link between active lifestyles and maintaining good physical and mental wellbeing and, because of this, we aim to provide facilities and activities that are accessible to all, with one simple goal: to make life better. We are committed to keeping prices low and to provide funding to encourage people to move more every day.
Meet our Board of Trustees
From our beginnings in 1974 to today, Horizon has been part of the local community for generations. What started as a single swimming pool in Havant has grown into a charitable trust that supports health, fitness and wellbeing across our centres. Our history wall celebrates the people, milestones and moments that have shaped who we are
Horizon’s story started with one pool in Havant, created to give local people a place to swim, stay active, and feel part of something. From day one, the focus was simple: make wellbeing accessible and welcoming for everyone.
Over the years, Horizon evolved beyond swimming, expanding into fitness, classes, and activities designed for all ages. As demand grew, so did our facilities and services, shaped by the needs of the communities who use them every day.
Now as Horizon Leisure Trust, we continue to support healthier, happier communities through modern leisure centres, inclusive programmes, and spaces where people can build confidence and wellbeing. Everything we do is driven by our purpose: helping more people move more, and feel better for it.
Horizon is shaped by the people who make it what it is. Our dedicated teams, loyal members and local partners bring our PRIDE values to life across our centres every day. This clip shares their voices and experiences, showing what Horizon means to them. It is a place where people feel part of something bigger and proud to be part of our story.
