Opening and Quiet Times

We are here for you when you need us. Our doors are open from Monday to Friday, welcoming you from 6 am until 10:30 pm. On weekends, we embrace leisure with our extended hours from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. We stay committed to your well-being even on bank holidays, inviting you from 6 am to 7 pm.

To experience tranquillity and avoid crowds, consider visiting during our quieter periods. Weekdays between 11 am and 3 pm are more serene, and the afternoons during weekends offer a peaceful escape. Keep in mind that occasional events may bring increased foot traffic.

Your Journey Begins: Getting Here

As you embark on your Horizon Leisure Centre journey, you’ll encounter two entrances, each catering to your specific purpose.

Are you travelling by car? Our pay-and-display car park awaits, offering convenience and accessibility. Charges apply from 8 am to 6 pm every day. Rates are 70p for 1 hour, £1.00 for 2 hours on weekdays, and £1.10 for 4 hours on weekends. You’ll find dedicated disabled parking bays right at the front entrance. In case those are not available, additional parking bays are available nearby.

For those relying on public transport, rejoice! Buses 20, 21, 27, and 39 will drop you at our doorstep at the leisure centre bus stop.

Empowering Your Health: Exercise on Referral Scheme

Paid health checks (all of free + Cholesterol and Random blood glucose (finger prick sample)

Discover the benefits of this scheme with two options: £20 per month through direct debit, granting full centre access, or pay-as-you-go at £3.50 per session for Gym and swimming. Benefit from at least three appointments, including a gym induction, a six-week review, and a 12-week assessment.

Post-scheme, continue your journey at a discounted rate or join our monthly Direct Debit membership.
