Supporting Inclusive Sport in Havant
At Horizon, Inclusive Sports and Clubs are designed to remove barriers to being active and create welcoming opportunities for everyone in the community. Delivered in partnership with Get Up and Go, a Havant Borough initiative funded by Hampshire County Council, the programme focuses on helping residents move more, particularly those who may face challenges due to health conditions or financial circumstances.
Why Inclusive Sport Matters
Staying active plays an important role in physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection. Inclusive Sports and Clubs at Horizon Havant are built around these benefits, offering enjoyable activities that encourage movement, build confidence and strengthen community connections.
The programme supports people to stay active in ways that suit their needs, helping participants feel more connected to their local area while making activity a positive and rewarding part of everyday life.
